Every connection your child makes with the College before starting eases their experience on the first day and overall integration.
We recommend future students, regardless of year level, attend general activities such as the annual production and art exhibition as well as specific year level transition events.
TERM 1 INTAKE
Year 7
Culture Day 1 (St Augustine’s & St Monica’s only) Wednesday, 11 November 2026, 9.15am – 2.30pm. To provide students the opportunity to meet one another, become familiar with the routines and expectations of Catholic College, and how to live out the school motto, ‘Life in Jesus’.
Culture Day 2 (St Francis of Assisi & all other schools except St Augustine’s & St Monica’s) Thursday, 12 November 2026, 9.15am – 2.30pm . To provide students the opportunity to meet one another, become familiar with the routines and expectations of Catholic College, and how to live out the school motto, ‘Life in Jesus’.
Family Information Night Monday, 7 December 2026, 6.00-7.00pm . An informative evening designed to support students and their families as they begin Secondary School. Meet other students, Year Level Leader and Community Leaders.
Orientation Day Tuesday, 8 December 2026, 8.50am – 3.10pm. A full-day experience designed to give new students a taste of life in Year 7 and help them feel confident and prepared for the transition to Secondary School. Orientation Day Flyer
Year 8-12
Commencement Program Monday, 7 – Tuesday 15 December 2026, 9.15am – 2.30pm. The 2027 curriculum commences on Monday, 7 December, with all students transitioning to their next year level. All new students entering Years 8–12 are expected to attend to familiarise themselves with their timetable, classrooms, educators and curriculum content. Holiday homework may also be assigned.
