MID-YEAR FAMILIES
We recognise that children are not the only ones transitioning into college life. We arrange for a parent to ‘check in’ with each family starting for the Mid-Year and Commencement Program.
BE VISIBLE
Being an active parent does not stop at primary school. Research shows the endless benefits that children receive when parents are engaged at school – regardless of age.
Teenagers need to see their families are visible and part of their educational experience. We regularly conduct gatherings aimed at updating families and answering questions. Topics at information sessions vary, but may be relevant to a particular year level, ICT, subjects or new developments.
Attend masses, assemblies, parent-teacher interviews, subject selection sessions, jumper presentations, the art exhibition, the annual production and other events as advertised.
SCHOOL TOURS
School Tours with our Community Engagement Officer are designed to give prospective members of our community a real sense of what a day in the life of a Catholic College students is. If you would like to attend a learning walk, please email enrolment@ccw.vic.edu.au
