First Day
During the first day students receive a timetable, map, lock and laptop. They are allocated a locker, have their photo taken, and shown where their Learning Mentor Group room is.
Year 7-10
Bring a book. The first 6 minutes of every lesson in Year 7-10 involves reading in class. If you forget a book, let your LM know and they can take you to a librarian to select something to read.
COMPASS
This is our student management system.. On Compass you can check daily notices, timetable changes (and other information that keeps you organised). You will receive your student number and Compass login on your first day.
Expectations. (Phones. Bags. Behaviour.)
MOBILE PHONES | SMART DEVICES
‘OFF & AWAY ALL DAY’
We endorse very clear guidelines to support our community. If a student brings a phone to school, it must be switched off and stored in their locker. It cannot be used between 8.57am-3.15pm.
Students do not take phones to class, use them during breaks or carry them around.
Phones are collected and stored at Student Services if sighted.
If parents need to contact students, please call reception on 6043 5500.
Lost or Unsure?
There are plenty of people to help. Ask another student or teacher, go to your year level office, Wellbeing or Reception. If you are unsure about anything, check with your LM or Year Level Leader.
DAILY TIMETABLE
All students report to their Learning Mentor each morning at 8.55am. We run a four- period day, with two recesses and a lunchbreak. Four minutes is allocated to travel between each period. The last class finishes at 3.15pm.
