Science Teacher (fixed-term, 0.6-1 FTE)

 

With a staff member now on parental leave, we have an amazing opportunity available in our Science domain. In this role you will be introduced to our innovative approaches to learning and teaching and experience our inclusive and supportive work environment first hand. You will also work directly within our state of the art Science building. As a teacher at CCW you will get to work in a learning focussed community in specialised learning areas.   • Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with children, parents, and the school community.
  • Experience and proven record in effective learning and teaching skills, including management of composite/mixed ability classes.
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children.

Teaching salaries will be based on skills and expertise as per the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018, with the successful applicant being subject to maintaining a Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.
