Social Worker / Counsellor
Be a part of our dynamic Student Services team as a Social Worker / Counsellor, who is passionate about working with students in our school environment. In this key role you will maintain a dual focus on both assisting with and improving student wellbeing and addressing external issues. You will apply your professional expertise to assist students, parents, families and teachers to achieve the most beneficial outcomes for students. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work and/or Counselling, or extensive equivalent experience.
- Proven ability to help young people develop self-confidence, self-reliance and resilience.
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with external support agencies.
- Experience working in a secondary school setting is desirable, but not essential.

The salary range for this position is $79,789 – $90,883 as an Education Support Officer, Category B – Level 4 under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2018 and will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
