Learning Diversity Coordinator (Years 9-10)

 

Catholic College Wodonga is now seeking applications for a passionate Teacher with specialist experience in Learning Diversity/Special Needs to commence full-time in an ongoing capacity, from Term 3 2024.

 

In this role, you can have a significant impact on the achievement, engagement, and wellbeing outcomes of all students, including those with a disability or diverse learning needs. You will be responsible for strengthening an inclusive and friendly school culture, whilst creating a positive environment for learning.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration
  • A demonstrated understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good oral and written communication skill, including ability to communicate with children, parents and the school community
  • Experience and proven record in effective learning and teaching skills, including management of composite/mixed ability classes
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of appropriate behaviours when engaging with children
