A great turnout at our second last transition event by Year 6 children throughout the region today.
Coordinated by our Wellbeing and Catholic Identity teams, 23 children (56% of invitees) from Corryong, Albury, Osbornes Flat, Rutherglen, Chiltern, Bandiana, Kiewa, Baranduda and North Albury visited from 8.45 – 10am.
They sat in Chapel, played ‘icebreaker’ games with ADF students under shady trees, and paused to eat bacon and egg muffins for morning tea. They finished with a quick tour of the Wellbeing Office and a reminder of where the Arts Centre is for Orientation Day!
Thanks to our ADF students for their enthusiastic assistance, and to staff for their help.
It was the first time in several years that the College has held such a morning, and judging on feedback and attendance, we will run another.
Our final transition event for the 2018 Year 7 cohort is Orientation Day, Tuesday 5 December. Families are reminded that the Year 6s are to go straight to the Arts Centre when they arrive around 8.45am.
